    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

I had minor warranty work done a couple of weeks ago at local main dealer and they managed to dent the door whilst moving another car next to it, they rang us last week to arrange to have it in for repair and I told um no, wait for this debacle to clear first, they are now closed, if I’d said ok rs may have been stuck in garage for god knows how long

Had to visit my nurse today to have my “let’s keep the old bugger alive” injection. Always a pleasure as they’re so pleasant and easy on the eye. To get in the door was like getting into Fort Knox. Everything tightly shut and only entering by using the intercom and answering questions about your state of health i.e. cough etc. Once in, it’s the first time I’ve been in there where there were only two people waiting but sitting as far away as possible from each other. Usually it’s full of people coughing, spluttering and making noises that I couldn’t guess where they were coming from!!

From there I thought I’d top up my shopping for the next few weeks and maybe, just maybe, there may be some bog rolls in stock. ASDA were very well organized as I guess most supermarkets are now. Had to wait in a queue whilst a “one out, one in” procedure was being followed. Once inside it’s still short on some items, but, bloody Nora a few bog rolls on the shelf. Grabbed me a 12 pack that should last the three months, but, if the wife were still alive would most probably have only lasted a couple of weeks. Why do women use so much paper? Once in, it was amusing to see people passing each other in the aisles keeping as tightly tucked in as possible and some holding their breath as they passed. In general it looked good with nobody, from what I could see, loading up their trollies with multiple items.

I’m self isolating for 3 months so I daresay I’ll get bored and post some more rubbish. After 2 days I’ve done the housework, ironing, a few odd jobs, watched a bit of daytime TV (crap) and reverted to porn but even that gets boring after knocking out a couple. Weather’s glorious, the roads are almost empty and my car is just sitting there doing nothing. I’m tempted but will resist. Amen

Talk about doing boring jobs, I dug a trench yesterday cos next door had a skip that wasn’t full, finish that. today hoovered the gutter out with the wet and dry vac so cleaned the gutters now decided to have a breather. Kitchen needs decorating and down lights fitting so will save that for a week or two, already have the paint. I was going to put the summer wheels and tyres on the RS, but might hold off that cos if this does go into the summer and beyond it will be winter again. Mental times.

    Afternoon all!!

Well I’m sitting waiting for my Chopper home after 23 days Offshore. I came out here on the 4th of March and left behind a very normal life, not expecting to be going home to a very different place indeed!! ??..!!

I’ve got my documents printed off that allow me to be on the roads as it turns out I’m a “key-worker”, I think the term is??

Anyhoo, looking forward to getting back into the RS and blasting Northwards!! I’m guessing I’ll have to stop in a number of shops on route to get supplies coz the cupboards are bare as Mrs Brembo has been Self Isolating for nearly 2 weeks now nursing a cold and as she works with the elderly she can’t take any chances!!

Looking forward to getting back into the Forum, not had much time to read all the threads lately.

STAY SAFE FOLKS and happy RSing..!! ?.

    Cheers, Marc.

Welcome back to a different world brembo

hope all the family is ok, it tough on families and individuals when you are away during testing times.

Hope the jobs secure as is oil and gas having to react to the significant drop in the oil price, only upside is v power feels good value at the moment.

May the Ford be with you
