Hi. As in the title. I read a post from white-RS2 about a Norris Designs remap and hardware and it said “but once removed like all COBB devices no trace; whereas the Mountune 400 leaves a tag for Ford Service to see. ” so I’m just wanting to know which remaps  (stage 1 or 2) can be put on and when removed (for warranty work) doesn’t leave a trace that Ford could look for an excuse not to cough up. Obviously the Mountune 375 is warranty approved but I was thinking of a cheaper option to get similar power this time. Thanks in advance.

I chose Dreamscience and delighted with results.  Apparently COBB resets the cycles to Zero after a flash, the Director at DS has confirmed that this is not the case with DS.

Who really knows? If forensics can read a pc hard drive after formatting I’m sure all maps could be detected after removal.  It just depends how good Ford’s software is & how good the user is.

Buying anything but fpm375 is not without risk of warranty loss.

I’ve not heard much about DTUK though.  Looks like a piggy back system similar to what you could find back in the 90s for untunable ECUs

Mainly specialise in VAG Group cars. Had them on my Mk7 Golf GTD and Golf R. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Might have a look at the dreamscience at a later date though. The DTUK box is absolutely bang on though.

Find it hard to believe not may on here have heard of them.

I posted this about 3 months ago. If you haven’t read it, you may find it useful.

OBD Fusion on Android play store. About £3.60, works very well with a cheap Bluetooth OBD ?

I flashed the map on 2 days ago.  Rs is 5 months old so figures look bang on as I don’t drive it every day.
