Not surprised at the least in what you say, if you watch the RS development video gives a tone of rigorous testing. My view is the engine is close unforged to its safe limits and some development could have done with a little more time.

Hammy ūüĎćūüėĮ, like u style, thow a grenade and watch the reaction.

Back in the day I had a mk1 xr2 and we used to drive like the rds where race tracks, spending HR apon HR thrashing um to red line, constant brake fade, tyres lasting as little as 4000 miles, wheel spinning everywhere and guess what never heard of oh that car engine will blow.

    Keep the free speech going.

On the warranty thing, brill they say track days no problem, most who track will be fitting air filter ect ect =warranty void, red line it- misuse =warranty void ect ect

Most of us on here like to think we drive like colin macrae (me included), but let’s face it, we don’t. We like to tinker / put things on our cars to make um go faster, then boost about it.

As hammy said most will never track thier cars, only in thier minds cos we feel / like to believe like we are still 20yrs younger than we really are.

Keep the free speech absolutely but the personal comments just because of someone’s profession or because the content is not relevant to yourself seems very personal and childish.

Yes totally agree with both 1234 and helieandgareth very true I don’t track my car as its a considered purchase and I have no urge to torture it within an inch of its life. But the language and tone of some posters goes well beyond whats acceptable. Be interesting to meet some keyboard warriors face to face.

Agree most of these will never see a track, or closest will be the car park on a Sunday meet, ending up a garage queens or pampered weekend toys. So Toyota will have done the risk analysis plus the engineering and testing to be comfortable offering that warranty. It‚Äôs Japanese, a Toyota it‚Äôs expected to do what it says on the tin, anything less would be a loss of honour and integrity, that would be unthinkable…..
