<span style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);”></span>Had my 2nd protect plan service & was told the brake fluid change was due at a cost of £49, I declined & was told it will be tested & the tech would let me know if it needs changing.

He didn’t so I assumed it was fine?

Im going to ring the dealer to find out if it was changed as in the t&c’s it states brake fluid change included every other year according to the length of your plan ! 🤔

    Update:

Car been at dealers for a couple days, picked her up today, all good now, tech found loom that goes into nearside rear door the connector had corroded so much that the connectors had broke away causing the fault, a new door loom & plug was replaced under warranty  , problem now solved. I was shown a photo of the connector and it was in a right state tbh, I’ve had no leaks in the cabin at all & I’m wondering how water got to that plug inside the door ?

indicators now working when locking & unlocking the RS & rear door issue sorted.👌

Had a fiesta st-line courtesy car, was ok but glad I’m back in the RS 🚙💨💥💥

    Love it 🤩

That’s a weird one? ,The RS has global opening & closing windows, so if the windows were all down when you looked the RS ,2 presses on the fob lock button & all the windows should close.

I’ve got the same problem with nearside rear passenger door, been told possible loom/wiring issue, dealer having the car for 1-2 days for strip down for starters.😩

mine all started from a door protector replacement on that door.

    Update:

Had the sync 3 module replaced, working fine since , was replaced last year lol.

Have had a new problem on going for a few months where the near side rear door does not open after you open the doors with the fob, or keyless entry. ( the door I had the protector replaced ). Even from the inside it won’t budge, also the electric window doesn’t operate, This happens 5 out of 10 car unlocks.

Just had my 2nd service and mentioned it, it was looked at by the tech, there is an issue with the loom that goes through that door, so booked in again after Easter for a 1 to 2 day tear down to be investigated ?

All the above after a door protector replacement last year… unbelievable ay ☹️

One plus got the keyless entry switched off . ( no charge) never worked properly anyway lol ——👎

Last thing, on double locking the doors am I going mad or do the hazards flash on 2nd press, well they don’t anymore since service ?

    She’s running well though ha🤞

    @matt. B

Mine flashed up oil change , I just reset it myself as only had the head gasket work done in November. Dealer obviously forgot to reset. Service due soon anyway. Oil still looks fresh .
