Evening Gents!! I took some cracking photos of Bonnie Scotland while out in the RS this afternoon but I can’t upload them!! I got a new IPhone XR at Xmas and the photos it takes are great but they’re all around 6 Mb and the max on this website is 3 Mb. Now I’m not good with this kinda stuff, ?, lol, so was hoping maybe someone could advise me?? I’ve tried all the settings on my phone and also downloaded a free app for compressing photos but it’s P**H!! Looks like I’m going to have to buy an app so can anyone advise me on a good one before I waste my money. Any advise is welcome and greatly appreciate!! Thank you.

    Cheers, Marc.

Marc, I am afraid I can’t help you with IPhone route mate, however, if you are able to download your jpegs to a Windows computer, I can tell you what works for me, it’s a bit self taught, but seems to work ok for photo uploads to the forum.

A couple of things to try on the iPhone:

download a app like photoshop express (I have that one for simple editing). But you need to login using Facebook, google or an adobeid.

Simpler is to go to your photos, tap select (top right) from your all photos album view. Select the photos you want (not too many at once) tap the share icon (box with arrow on the bottom left). Select ‘mail’. Put in your own email address in the to: and a subject line. Then send.  You should now get a pop up saying you can reduce the image size – choose one option that’s less than 3mb. Your phone will now resize the images and email they to you. Open the mail light tap and hold on one image. The pop up on the bottom should have a ‘save X images’ option (where X is the number of photos). Tap on this and they will be saved to your All photos on your phone!

I can post some screenshots if you get stuck…..

Morning mate!! A couple of great little mods. I was surprised at how smooth the gear changes remained, just less travel. The Ford OEM Shifter bracket is a hell of a lump, I was amazed at how heavy it was when I got it removed and held it in my hand. The Rear Mount also feels good, thought I’d get a little vibration/noise at idle, but nothing. There’s a noticeable stiffening up when you’re  putting your foot down so I’m happy with that. Definitely recommend doing these 2 mods together. Also fitted the Labyrinth style Crank Breather Plate and changed my oil n filter. Couldn’t believe how clean everything was when I removed the Intake Manifold etc. I was going to be getting a Catch Can but don’t think I need that just now. Rear Pads next time home, they’re worn right down.

    Cheers, Marc.
