    I’m considering the replacement rear lights as available from the club shop.  I don’t want the smoked/chrome as I see them as being too obvious and dark so I’m thinking the red/smoked.  I’d like them a bit darker than standard otherwise there’s no point and I’m wondering if anyone has these and can confirm they are darker than standard?  Any pictures would be welcome.

    I’m hoping to get these too, so would be interested also. I think they are a fair bit darker than standard though.

    Probably darker suits a frozen white car better than the other range of colours.

    @coastliner, I think it’ll look pretty sweet on a magnetic too ?

    As I have Magnetic I felt the darker (but not extreme like smoked/chrome) look would give it a bit more ‘stealth’

    Hi Stuart,

    Liking the look of the rear lights, having a FW as well so have just ordered the red/smoked ones from the club. Looking forward to putting them on the car, any issues to report since you installed?

    Cheers

    No problems at all, good quality lights and a nice upgrade.

    For my part the right rear light and break down after 16 months and for the seller it is normal.
    No commercial jest is a shame.

    Cannot make my mind up whether to go this route as I do like the OE rear lights, or just change all the bulbs for led’s from Autobeam……….

    Decisions, decisions 🤔

    Regards
