NS headlight has developed the same fault as OS i had replaced last year (points off to the left once its finished levelling off when switched on) only this time it’s out of warranty, anyone know whats causing the fault with the light, is it possible to replace the faulty part as opposed to the whole light unit.

    Cheers

Will be broken wire on a connection inside the lamp it’s easy enough to fix if you haven’t already done it

@RsFfordman – Ever had the headlamps removed for any reason prior to the start of the headlamp issues i.e the fitting of an aftermarket intercooler?

Mine seem to have suddenly decided they will only shine down instead of way out in front is there a way to get them back to normal. Oh and my lights have been removed twice in the last month for intecooler fitting then to repair an annoying rattle

    Evening mate!!

Have you done any work to the Drivers side Front or Rear Suspension??

The Sensors for the Headlight Aim are located on the above mentioned Suspension Arms. Might be worth a check mate!! ?.

    Cheers, Marc.

These look alright on main beam !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    Afternoon mate!!
I’ve gone out and taken a couple pics.
If you look under the car from the rear you’ll see the plastic rod that connects between the Sensor and the O/S/R Suspension Arm….

    Cheers, Marc.

If you turn your steering to the right and look in between the front bumper and the wheel you’ll see the front Sensor….

I’ve circled the Sensor and the arrow points to the rod that connects between Sensor and O/S/F Lower Suspension Arm!!

    Hope that helps mate!! ??.

    Cheers, Marc.
