    I’m going for the FPM375 next month and also the TRC this Thursday.  With both being car modifications has anyone’s insurance gone up much?

    Cheers

    I did a couple of upgrades a week before insurance renewal FPM375 and a milltek overall increase £15. But they said they would not support any further upgrades.

    On Go-Compare, I searched for my car rather than entering the reg, and a drop down option when selecting the car model includes 375 upgrade and did not increase my premium

    @Coastliner did an edit on my current insurance and it’s going to be £20 more

    @matt972
    I did a quick quote as if I was doing it from new and has come out as £381 but I do have a non fault accident on it from 2015 which will affect it……

    I mention EVERYTHING, you do not want them wriggling out of  a claim because of a non standard indicator lamp, for example.

    Most stuff doesn’t put it up by much, if at all. And the mods would be covered in a claim also.

    I went 375, 380, 400 and 400x with no financial penalty – although my premium has been on the steep side across the board to be fair.

    AF have told me that 450 or 520 will incur financial penalty to both current premium and excess.

    Regards
