    Hello all,

What’s everyone using to clean the interior plastics, dash etc in their RS?

Haven’t found something I really like for this car yet. Don’t want shiny, looking for a Matt finish on the interior plastics. Recommendations?

Also any recommendations on a good body work shampoo for nitrous? On the last of my chemical guys maxi suds so will pick up something new when I get the interior stuff.

Neil, I get all my cleaning supplies from here.

The interior cleaner I use gives a shine not a matt unfortunately.

Shampoo and foam are both very good

I use EZCarCare for most of my washing needs. Their interior cleaner is one of the best I’ve used, and weirdly, is excellent for cleaning the engine bay.

As above Autobrite also do some very good products, especially their alacantara cleaner.

I use a synthetic leather with warm water wring most of the water out, I agree products can give a false sheen, i have used this method for 10years over 4 cars and had good results.

Just a good APC at 1:10 and some decent microfibres / brushes.

Cheap and easy – the best is probably Bilt Hamber Surfex at less than £20 for a gallon and can be used for anything including wheels and paint prewash.
