Can anyone recommend a good tar remover that doesn’t remove wax or sealant

    I use geon stuff.

Used tar remover the other day on white land rover discovery sport. Had the car a year and hadn’t polished it once. Only regular maintenance washes.

Car was covered in tar but this stuff done the trick then polishing afterwards done the rest. Looks fantastic now if I do say so myself!

    Another shout for Autosmart Tardis.

Another good one is CarChem G&T and great value.

Ive also used Gtechniq version which is equally as good but expensive.

I use Autoglym. Their magma iron particle remover is pretty good too. I have a pack of their new ceramic coat but not had chance to prepare mine yet.

Always use Just the tonic from Autobritedirect.co.uk does the job very well without removing the wax/polish protection.
