I’ve just had my front calipers serviced and just in time.
The pins were quite corroded and are now cleaned up and greased.
Two different sizes of brass drifts were needed for getting the pads out and the big central pin is threaded internally so needs care.
There was plenty of pad depth near the two sensors but on each side the pad without the sensor was more worn by about 2mm.
Also each pad was unevenly worn and worse away from the sensor.
Would all this be done at the first service?
