Why on earth do Mountune release new items ? When they are unable to supply demand for their existing products ?

This is the performance partner chosen by Ford, it’s so laughable it borders on the ridiculous.

A market trader is more organised on stock levels and stock replacement, what compounds the issue, said market trader only has 1 eye 1 arm and one leg !!! What Mountune only have 40 staff so it’s obvious why they run out of stock…….. not enough staff ??????????

Dif fitting kit !!! What have they used until now, chewing gum and sellotape ???

I won’t buy from them for this reason. American version seems to always have stock and uk doesn’t even though its a uk company they need to sort it out

Revolve Technologies (formally Roush Technologies) bought out Mountune. Yes it is a UK registered company but it was sold to the US arm.

I’m guessing the stock levels on the web site are controlled to support the Mountune Pro dealers in the UK and making sure they have stock ahead of DIY guys. Yes it is frustrating that there is usually stock available in the US for the same part and a lot more options such as two coil overs and other parts to choose from.

If you ring a Ford Pro Dealer most don’t carry stock and when they enquire with Mountune they are also told erm yep you guessed it out of stock !!!!!!

When I was looking to have the 375 upgrade installed, I contacted 3 local dealers. They all said I would need to go on a waiting list due to lack of the induction kit parts from Mountune.

Think how long the waiting list would have been for the car if they supplied to the plant for line fitting !!!!!

Shame Fords supplier controls for OE parts doesn’t extend the the accessories suppliers….

My local pro dealer waited nearly 3 months for a order for 2 exhausts which I finally got mine fitted last week.

Not really sure about the diff fitting kit as I got my diff fiited a year ago.

It does make you wonder

Not sure what parts a Ford dealer uses to fit the Quaife diff, but Mountune assured me they use new seals and bearings when they fitted mine recently.

That’s what i mean the US site always has stock, the UK never does which is a kick in the teeth considering it’s the first time they’ve ever had an RS and the UK has had them for generations, their fan base is over here so it makes no sense as to why they wouldn’t stock up. They must lose so much money to competitors till eventually they lose the UK RS fan base all together

Never had an issue except waiting for the V3 exhaust to arrive in UK and then 3 weeks wait list for workshop booking. Always tend to give MT a months notice for any bookings and parts to arrive. Had about 10 visits to MT in last couple of years and all ok except for the delay with the V3.
