they can keep that $hit too !! I would rather have sun for winter !!

Nice pic Bob ! I want to buy somewhere in the canaries but just cant make my mind up on what island!! I think I have ruled out what used to be my favourite.. Tenerife, too busy now, heavy traffic daily on the main road from santa cruz to puerto.de la cruz, I like the scenery etc up north but you do usually only get half a days sun before it clouds over, and the south is just over developed and too popular now, so its going to be Fuerteventura, GranCanaria or lanzagrotty I think ! any ideas??

Having been to almost all the islands (many times) it would have to be Lanzarote Playa Blanca. The island of La Palma is so beautiful and peaceful but difficult for flights. Tenerife to hectic and very poplar. Just not keen on Gran Canaria has the wettest weather ? Fuerteventura beautiful quite just to windy. BUT as they say The Choice Is Yours…….

I need to go on that tv program ‘a place in the sun’ ( only to see Jasmine!!) We stayed at puerto del carmen lanzarote and got blown to bits! Puerto Mogan is nice in G.C but property is scarce and similar to London prices!! Its like a little Venice and is said to have the most amount of sun. I’m fed up looking really !

me too Bob, it was ok up to fireworks night and then bang.. winter. I hate it. depresses me. thats why I go away for january as its usually the coldest here! and why I want somewhere in the Canaries so I can ideally do November to March over there !
