    std intake manifold too? Thought mounty did an aloominum one?



    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    That’s a hell of a car that is mate. On the standard gearbox internals aswell? Will give everyone an understanding on how hard we can push these gearboxs

    That’s really quite impressive, how some of the standard parts are lasting even thou some are only rated to 400-450 such as the intake.

    Syvecs is pricey and I thought Pectel was back in the YB days.

    Nice build and keep the videos coming.

    No deck brace or anything either. Doesn’t even mention bigger studs and seems like standard gearbox. Reading it you could probably do a 600bhp build for cheaper than this aswell but the owner has gone for some top quality kit

    obviously this is still early days, but drive train wise it seems standard apart from the clutch.

    If something like this hold together then I’m fairly sure a lot of us can be put at ease when contemplating something like Revo 2

    The drivetrain is completely stock other than the twin disc clutch. The engine has been reinforced with external plates.  The head is studded. They are standard size though.  The stock intake seems to be working fine right now so no real reason to change it.

    @bludrgn you say you have a reinforced block, have you kept the standard open deck RS block then and not gone for the semi open deck 2.0 block?

     

    Also very good new in terms of the drive train only needing an uprated clutch, how have you found the cars feel adaption to the power? as some say the rear diff has a torque limiting system that forces the rear diff to disengage once a torque figure has been exceeded?
