Engine company saying I can comfortable run 500 bhp…Question..which tuning company offer  maps for around 500 bhp

Surely, if you decided to have it forged, you must have already looked to see what’s out there for big power?

Have you already got the necessary supporting mods – Intercooler, exhaust system, intake etc? and of course you’ll need a bigger turbo, oil catch can system,  maybe uprated clutch…….The list goes on, as will the cost!   Many thousands!!

Budget with turbo etc etc and supporting mods at least £15k

NX2 Turbo good for 400-700ish bhp the most flexible turbo out their currently for power & torque range. with a good tuner you will have minimal lag and a good all round shopping trolly for the Mrs.

It works really well with a set of Piper285 cams and a tad of head porting.

Depending where you are located Devil Developments, MSD, Sabre

The rest of the “M” maps suck

I would not recommend for NX2.I would recommend 3071gen 2.Hybrid turbo should be close to 500.

    Why??

3071 gen2 will be nearly screaming help at 500.

Then you’ll have to buy yet another turbo if you want more at plenty of ££££. You should always have a bit of a safety margin in the spec to work with.

It’s the same thing with the OEM injectors which are designed to flow xxx but then bolt on a HPFP to max out past their design capabilities, you shouldn’t, you should get an injector that flows the required fuel or a second set of injectors.

NX2 Turbo good for 400-700ish bhp the most flexible turbo out there, for the 2.3 ecoboost platform.

Avoid all Mountune maps, apart from the FPM375 which is their best map the rest are total pants.
