As some of you know my RS currently being detailed ready for summer but the wheels was corroded and chipped and basically looked rubbish, I also find every other car has black wheels and fancied something OEM looking but different. Clearly won’t be everyone’s taste but it’s growing on me

I like it. Never been a fan of black wheels – had mine done in Ford magnetite colour, but wish I’d gone brighter now.

Nitrous Blue FPM375, Milltek, DSC & TracTive, lots of Mountune bits

ooh Dave, I think the std cast silver rims cover the disc and calipers up, its the forged rims which show up yer braking equipment !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

It’s a yes from me. Mine is also stealth grey and when the alloys corroded ( as we know this doesn’t take long ) , decided on bronze. Was either that or silver like you have 👍

@RS@Wub, I actually like your new look 👍

The satin black finish on the Forged alloys always looks dirty on a car that is driven regularly. I could wash mine, have it looking great, then drive it 5 miles, with a bit if braking and the wheels would look dirty straight away. I used to think the statin black was like a magnet for brake dust.

Those look really well against the colour of the car. Not sure I would go that colour on my NB though
