Hi all, can any one recomend a decent set of brake pads.

Previously I owned a golf R, which had brilliant stoping power but my 2018 RS, brakes just aren’t cutting it.

Hoping all I will need, is just new pads, with out spending loads of cash.

    cheers

its not the brake pads, its the 1600 kilos they have to stop that’s the issue, and do it on a daily basis without squealing and having even more folk moan !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

In my experience standard genuine ford pads are best.

If you brake hard the abs comes on and that’s the tyres giving up not the brakes.

EBC Yellows will make your stock pads feel like they are made of clay. Way better stopping power and virtually noise and dust free.
