Carbon parts from China

Anyone ever bought carbon fibre parts form China?

Unsure whether they’re decent or not.

BUT Kuro’s stuff is all self made pre-peg stuff @white-rs2 – made by him personally with aerospace experience.   How dare you suggest that a) he imports it from China or the fact he takes a stock Ford part and layers it with carbon fibre sheeting (this making it actually heavier than the original stock piece… and then charge a fucking mint for it 😉

Carbon Fibre products are the biggest con since Coke-Cola tried to sell us bottled tap water.

Must say I am tempted after putting Kuro Carbon bits in my engine bay.

Cheers. I’m not buying anything yet. Maybe treat myself at Xmas haha.

Was hoping maybe somebody had bought them for an opinion on whether there decent and not as use say adding layers to stock parts or cheap and nasty haha

When I bought a load of carbon stuff from Kuro, some of the parts had Chinese font on the rear!

Only Kuro carbon I bought was through Kenny via the site.

So Kuro just buy in and then stick their name on it then? Seems all pretty genuine via Face book page.

Yes and it’s always about 2-3 weeks before you can get it as that’s the shipping time.

Or as he says to make it ! why not have 1 or 2 in stock ???? As it costs so little for the base products. Always a wait on spoilers and the bigger items.

If you read the description at the bottom they are not actually 100% carbon fibre – rather fibre glass coated with a top layer of carbon fibre but they do offer the option of the parts in 100% carbon fibre…
