Standard Recaro Seat Covers

I have been busy working on getting some quality seat covers for members. Having seen others in the marketplace I thought they weren’t brilliant quality.

Here are a few pictures of the early prototypes. These are plain black with no stitching or logos but this was for an entry level option.

There will also be a black version with blue top stitch to match the seats, Recaro logo on the bolster to match the seat.

These are not made from the thin crap stuff like some of the others these are much more heavyweight and better quality. They take the shape of the seat very well whilst still being easy to get over the seat…it is a one piece cover. When you sit in it it doesn’t move about or really baggy.

These are from Recaro approved stitchers so a standard seat version is also coming.

Only rough prices at this stage (RRP):

• Plain Black £55 single, £100 pair
• Black with blue top stick and logos £80 single, £140 pair

I know the title says CS covers but that’s the standard seat in the pics ain’t it?

Bloody good fit if it is and by far the best fitting one I’ve seen.

 

Any update as to when these are likely to be ready to buy?

I was wanting to get a set to try first but will see if I can get a completed set in a picture.

Nice for folk who use it as a daily and maybe in and out with overalls/ dirty clothes/ kids, but I want to see what I paid the extra £1145 for !! I drive along and admire the passenger Shell seat and give the alcantara the odd admiring stroke, I’m not going to cover that beauty up and leave it mint for the next buyer ( if there is ever going to be one! )

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Very interested, my girlfriend keeps insisting on bringing drinks in y car 🙁 so would be great to see the ones with the extra stitching!
