EBC discs

So decided to get EBC discs and went with the bsd ones for something different to the usual turbo ones everyone goes with..

So the issue is I just bought these from A&K… The fronts are gen 2 and the rears are gen 3 😭.

I was hoping for gen one as the centre is black.. Gen 2 I can deal with as the centre is black but gen 3 is grey..

I was forced to get grey discs last time around covid due to no one producing any and I hate looking at them against the black wheels.

Has anyone bought EBC discs lately and got gen 1 or gen 2???

Is it only the centres that are different? Thinking of going the same option

The grey gen 3 is more resistant to corrosion, that’s all.

As long as from the outside they look the same colour I guess

You will see the grey against your black alloy. I’ll post a pic of mine from when they were fitted. Mine are a darker grey, these new EBC are lighter grey.

Has anyone’s else EBC and yellow stuff pads been squeaky??

There were fine for a day or 2 after fitting but now squeak loudly. I hate it haha.
