Ford Focus ST3 Mountune (Part Ex for RS?)

hi all,

As mentioned in my first few posts, I’m about to start looking for an RS. Whilst I do this I thought I would see if there is anyone out there who may be thinking of going the other way and may in interested in a part exchange deal, my ST3 plus cash for their RS. Maybe someone who is looking to free up some cash but would still like a nice car and one that’s not too far away from the RS.

My car is a 2015, black ST3 with Mountune MP275 kit added (at Mountune). Currently sitting at just 18.5k miles with full history and MOT. Very good condition and a host of factory upgrades. I will try and add a picture below.

Makes sense to me. I was considering getting rid of my car to free up a little cash to build an extension on my house. I’m now gonna keep hold of the rs but I’m sure there might be others that could do with freeing up cash but still want a nice car.

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

@s66anb, my thoughts exactly. I’m sure there are some owners out there that wouldn’t mind or need a good few grand in their pockets for othe projects and a nice car.

Probably a big ask. There are bargains out there — I guy I know found an RS at a Lexus garage — he paid £24000 for a high-spec on a 16 plate.

Looks like a nice car you have there and good luck with getting it sold and getting into an RS.

Shame it’s black, I know someone who might have been interested as their on the lookout for a nice ST.

Nice looking car but I doubt you’ll find anyone wanting to trade down.   They are night and day compared to the mk3 RS unlike the mk2’s.   I’d certainly wish to own another ST3 but I’d want an estate.
