Ghost or Viper

My car is due soon and due to a various horror stories I am considering some extra protection, I am already getting drive way post, house door lock upgrades, drive way sensors and house alarm upgrade, so I am then left with either the ghost or the viper for the car any advice on which one to pick if you had the choice between one or the other?

Personal preference really but I’ve installed car security for 21 years and I fitted the ghost to my RS

Viper can’t stop key theft, or offer anti hijack.

I gotta admit, even before your reply I was favoring the ghost (thanks for your input btw, I did read the other threads about the ghost, but I thought I would start a new one about a specific comparison).

Judging by what I am reading on the forum, the car looks like it will be here in early January, already got my disklok and the retractable drive post will be fitted next week, so I will need the ghost doing sometime in January.

The Ghost is a can bus immobiliser which stops key theft, key cloning, and obd port theft also, with the added bonus of Anti Hijack if you so wish, it’s doesn’t make a sound.

What would you like to see on a video ? It won’t be long as car doesn’t start unless the code or app is used !

I did have one but changed phone’s and it hasn’t backed it up to the cloud
