    Hi all,

I’ve just picked up my (new to me) Focus RS. The keyless entry only seems to work on the passenger side of the car. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting….or might this be a fault?

    Ta!

@simon, If my memory serves me well I think you can program the central locking system to only recognise operating on the drivers door. Check in the hand book and reprogram it back to all doors.

Morning mate!! Sounds like a fault to me!! Your RS has various antennas around the car for picking up the key signal, this is how the car knows where the key is, e.g. drivers side, pass side, tailgate or inside. If your Keyless Entry is working from the passenger side but not the drivers then it may well be an issue with the driver side antenna.
Does the tailgate open using the Keyless Entry?? If so, it sounds like the antenna at the drivers side isn’t picking up the key signal.

    Cheers, Marc.
