KW DDC Coilover Suspension Focus RS 39030001

Focus RS 2016-2018

The latest generation of adaptive KW DDC plug & play coil-over suspension is now available for the Focus RS. This unique upgrade works in conjunction with the Ford suspension control system allowing you to select between Normal and Track shock valve settings by the factory control stalk or through drive modes.

The advantage is not only adjustable ride height by normal threaded spring perches but more compliant shock settings compared to the unusually stiff factory “Track” setting. All Focus RS drive modes are still functional too so you can still enjoy the improved response of Sport mode along with aggressive Track and Drift Modes. Overall driving dynamics are enhanced with improved grip and control. Perfect for street and track.

Retains electronic damper control
Includes Mountune specific springs for optimal ride height
DDC Valve Technology changes shock valving within one hundredth of a second
Stainless Steel Struts with corrosion resistance coating
Twin Tube shock design
Adjustable ride height front and rear
Approximate lowering
Front 1-2″
Rear 1.25-2.25″

RS Edition.

Maybe this coil over combined with the DSC system? Could be interesting. I found already someone who can offer me the KW coil over with 25% less price. will order and fit it as first step. maybe second step will be the DSC. Or if there are any to sell until I look out for one. would be nice to test the differences one time on road and one time on track.

I see these are now on Mountunes web site. Cost £2083.33. I thought Bilstein were bringing a kit out sometime as well?

DSC option would be better, as the module will be calibrated to the dampers for a full adaptive/active system.

Just looked them up, they are not adaptive controlled still use the Ford module. DSC or someone would need to write new calibration tables for the DSC module to work with them. The software tool is free to download to do it, but needs some expertise and testing.

9designs you can send me one for free to Switzerland. Will present this how good it is and that they can order at you 😉 but give it to me for free. otherwise I will not buy this until I got a chance to test and see difference. prefer to buy a DDC coil over for the money instead stock car with this DSC unit.

Last time I checked I was registered as a limited company not a charity ?. The full shock option is going to better than stock but is twice the price of the DSC, not everyone wants to go that far. But if you did my point was the matching dampers from DSC Sport will make most use of it. Seems pretty logical to me.

I agree that this coil over will be better than stock. and maybe there will be an additional improvement to the coil over shocks with the DSC kit. but I just read about, seems logical but still ask me should I spend the money or not… thats why I hope I meet someone close to me to feel difference. Or like I wrote, send me one for free and I will send everyone I met to you to order 😀 haha 😉 at least I tried 😀
