MAXD-Out (Pumaspeed) experience

Hello Guys and Girls

 

Is anyone in here already driving the MAXD-Out box on Stage 1 or Stage 2 ?

I am thinking about getting a little ECU flash but not sure so far what kind of. This looks good to me but I would like to ask if there is any expirience with the flash. Good or bad feedbacks are welcome.

 

My car is at the moment at 3’500km and runs since 0km a Milltek exhaust system. Will add the downpipe now with an other wastegate actuator 18psi and other air intake. So with this wastegate actuator I am pretty sure I need a new software otherwise the engine light will switch on…

 

thanks for any feedbacks or helps to find the right ECU calibration if MAXD is not that what is the best for a Flash only

Hi ipwnswiss. I had REVO stage 1 installed in January (370-385 bhp). 30’000 km and still smiling every time I hit the throttle. Now waiting for the seat lowering kit by JCR. Cheers from Basel in glorious Nitrous Blue 😉

Ok nice to hear! I was also in the forum active and checked all posts about ECU and brands.

Then I had some mail contact with Dreamscience and then ordered directly the Dreamscience because they work also for bolt-on mods for a ECU flash and I just can update the device then on my computer and put it on the car. no more costs, thats cool and I also have different settings. The delivery was very fast, ordered it on Monday at 23:15 in a very fast decision and got it today at 9:15 in the morning here in Switzerland ! FedEx seems to use same map to be so fast 😀

Main decision point was to order the Dreamscience because all here are very very happy with the DS Ultima map. They say its like a train pulling really hard! So my WhiteRS is now on 3600km with Milltek exhaust and some slight modifications for air intake and some stuff. Lets see how it pulls. Will probably flash the car today and go for a testride.

I dont know how much Power and Torque is increased, but all say its really stronger than the 99+ map and this is at 377 PS and 570 NM. Will post feedback then in the thread for it.

Hello Guys,

I get install from MAXD Stage 1+ with Full Cold Air Induction Kit

I still get sometime acceleration hole on second gear otherwise car should come like that by default

Will be interest to get feedback from others persons install this upgrade

Do you mean a flat spot in the rev range? WHere in the rev counter does it happen?

I went for the Dreamscience Ultima Map and did not order the Pumaspeed. Also they support from Pumaspeed wrote to me that their is the best and for example is low on fuel so there will be to high temperatures and so on. I did not feel good to get bad rumours about other companies when I ask for their product. Also I am very happy so far with the Ultima map and did over 17’000km with it.

Hello,

I get some flat spots, power loss between 2500 to 3000 sometime

I will try to reduce the quantity of air come to the engine

Otherwise this upgrade is really as should this car be

I get also heat gasket replace on the start on the factory base ecu 🙂 right a letter to Ford never have any answer YET
