Mountune Axle back warranty?

Hi, recently purchased a 2nd hand mountune axle back and not fitted it yet, going to get it done by ford in  Blackpool (mountune dealer)

Mountune are telling me it’s not warranty approved as I wasn’t the original purchaser, I’ve got the original bill of sale obviously not in my name and having it fitted at ford so can’t see the issue?

Shall I just fit it and worry about it again because it can’t void much of the warranty surely?

A part that is warranty approved is warranty approved.

It “may not” have the manufacturers lifetime guarantee thou :-/

As it’s secondhand it won’t be warranty approved asked mountune  today and confirmed by ford protect
