Looking to fit a set of mudflaps on the RS. Used rallyflpz years ago on my Scooby and had no issues, they did scrub a little on large speed bumps every now and again but overall i was pleased with them.  are the PU Kaylan ones far better and what are the mountune version like?

    Thanks paul.

Not sure on the kaylan flaps but I’m sure I have heard the mountune flaps are the same as the rally armour flaps.

I have the rally armour and can’t fault them, I know some guys don’t like that it doesn’t meet with the little part that already sticks out on the rear arch.

@Matt.B, I’ve just had my rally armour’s fitted today, did you manage to fit them with no gap between the flaps and the wheel arch?

    Cheers

I’ve got the rally flapz ones fitted from the club shop. Cant fault them. Look great and keeps the dirt down. It’s not until you fit a set of flaps and see how much dirt collects on them you realise how much dirt would have been up the sides of your car

@smokin joe I also worried about that when I put mine on. Pretty sure its normal as I checked another car a meet and they were the same.</p>

@Matt. B, thanks for that, I won’t attempt to over tighten them in case I snap the lugs off……..
