Oil/Filter change

Does anyone else have a daily driver of around 12000 miles/year that has interval oil/filter changes in between yearly services?

Morning mate!! My RS is approaching 36,000 miles and 3 years old. I have changed my oil and filter every 6,000 miles/6 months. I buy my oil in bulk from Opie Oils, works out about £30 each time for oil and a tenner for filter from Ford.

When I dip my oil to check the level I hate to see it dirty so it gets changed.
about every six months as it turns out.

Im the same gets 2 a year regardless of miles… think there was almost 800 mile between changes this year! ?

Mine has had roughly two a year but mainly because it had the H/G done twice luckily between services so worked out in that way without a cost to me.

I am doing a oil, filter change this week in lockdown…original ford parts ..

my car only 5000 in 3 years….I normally changing oil every 6000 miles when I had my cosworth

Turbo car need regular oil changes.??
