My local shell garage now open 24/7 so even better – no q’s in the early hours.

Not much between v power and tesco 99 except tesco cheaper . On 95 esso, shell and asda have a good additive package otherwise they are all more or less the same product.

95 for me as I’m a cheap skate and have already covered 11,500 miles in 8 months problem free ownership.

    Love my RS

Im with Paul ^^ unless you are booting it all the time, or maybe doing a trackday, the super unleaded is not at all necessary.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

I’ve tried many different types of unleaded now. Just filled it with V power, no benefit to be fair, going back to RON 95

I found the same as you David, no difference that I can detect. So now I just put in what ever is cheapest.

From what I’ve seen. Momentum causes more knock. So the octane learn adjust gets lowered. Which reduces power slightly.

V power seems more resistant to knock.
