    brembo – Sorry for late reply Marc, I booked the evening session with Javelin for the sum of £79 mate, track time was timetabled to start at 5:30pm, kicking off with two separate groups each doing two sighting laps behind the course car, in reality, this meant that attendees actually started the ‘Open Pit Lane’ formatted evening session at approx 5:50pm, with the session to run until 8pm or until dark whichever is soonest.

    For me this was more than long enough, to be honest, I’ve been putting off going for a while because I know how addictive it can get, I am so glad I went though, I really enjoyed it. As for the car, well it was superb, on the track you can really push and experiment in a controlled and incremental way, very rewarding.

    Marc, if you fancy a go, get it done my friend, for sure there is a risk factor when on track, but life is oh so short, just depends on our individual viewpoints I guess, I reckon you’d love it though.

    bobcat, Matt. B – Thanks Lads, the RS definitely felt at home on the track, a great evening.

    First of all, I know this is a thread for posting pics of your own cars, and so I hope you guys don’t mind, but I went along to the Modified Live Time attack round at Cadwell Park earlier on in May, took a few quick pics with my phone of this little beauty near the Scrutineering Bay.

    .

    Great pic mate!! 2 for Team White!! ??.

    @overrev

    Morning mate!! Thanks very much for your detailed reply!! Yeah I’d love a shot on track as it’s something I’ve never done but there’s nowhere near me unfortunately!! On the plus side, I do get to really push the RS on a daily basis if I want to, an advantage of living in the Highlands!! ????????. Did you have the RS in Drift Mode at all to experiment or was it more of a Flat out session in Track Mode??

    Lovely pics of the old Escort too… is that a Heritage Edition?? Lol!! ??.

    Cheers, Marc.

    brembo – No mate, I didn’t use ‘Drift’ mode, but like you’ve already guessed I was lapping in ‘Track’ mode, trying my best to keep smooth and carry speed, with the word, ‘trying’ being the operative word!!!!

    Ha, yes Marc, that Escort is defo an early ‘Heritage’ mate, she sounded cool on track as well, took me back a few years.
