    I prefer the design of these aftermarket ones, but the light output is far less than the OEM ones. In a convoy of RS’ out to a track, it was immediately noticeable those that had OEM and those that didn’t.

    Motor manufacturers have over the years moved towards making lights more efficient and emit higher light values thereby making a car more distinguishable in poor light or weather conditions. So with this road safety issue so important why would anyone fit a light cluster with a lower light output.

    Or put a tint over it, thus reducing amount of emitted light that can get through?

    I appreciate its horses for courses, but when not at car shows – the more light the better I would suggest.
