I think his water jet cutting machine is dyslexic our the operator is anyways.
totally agree mike seems to be a farse going on here.
easy way to start finding out is every body that has one on here post your name and number that is on the plaque and start composing a list and start from there what do you guys think?

if he can prove me wrong I will give him full price times two for one.
doubt it very much as I think he is ether just making them up and keeping some sort of record our taken number out of the info you give him seems to be more believable in my eyes.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.
No tackiness.
Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

March 8, 2017 at 10:32 PM #24847Ford may not allocate build numbers as such but they obviously have records of RS’s built so it is not unreasonable to assume that if an employee can access the database they can say that a particular car built on a specific day (identifiable by its VIN) is the xxxx RS built.
I read somewhere that only 500 or so were being built each month so I also wonder how numbers are up to 13000?
March 8, 2017 at 11:13 PM #24853Still does not add up your Vin number is your number ford use in barcode form to build your car so only the would be able to tell you what date it was built and going buy there systems very slow and outdated compared to other cars like Audi BMW Volkswagen all cars built in the same country if I am wrong. If you do believe you have a genuine build number cool for you and just saying have read a lot of chatter state side that somebody over there is doing the same and it’s a pile of poop good for you mate. In my eyes opinion whatever until I see a build sheet with a build number on to verfy it. It’s bull shit and a con.

Unless my dealer is a cock which he isn’t he tells me there is no way of obtaining a build number unlike some of the old RS versions. He said because the RS mk3 is different ie more made Ford did not go through with numbering, he contacted them. I explained the situation to him and he said mate be very wary here as it seems a bit sus.
Now I hope we are wrong but if this guy is doing a Dell Boy then shame on him.

March 10, 2017 at 5:49 PM #25041I’ve spoken to someone connected to Fords, “He quotes” All the Focus are built down the same line to the point where the RS is sidelined, and Fords didn’t count the RS they chose not to because it was a worldwide car.

March 5, 2018 at 8:04 PM #81182Stephen, just give your money to some russian? bloke, he has a look at all the numbers he has issued ( made up) with a little rough guesswork from etis with chassis number and build date, then gets the wee lickle tacky plate made. Simples
