Rs mk3 centre pipe

Has anyone just had this bit pipe cut out and the same size pipe put in ?  Just it squashes down……

Can get it done for £100 just want to know if its worth it ?

@Tom Fraser Welcome ? think the overall internal diameter is the same as the stock, its flatter and fatter…. id put the £100 towards a new cat back

No just standard exhaust

You’ll just need a bit of pipe and theirs quite a few original exhaust for sale from £50 and then all you’ll need is to joints. About £12 each

Never thought of doing it myself…hell of a lot cheaper ?

Just need some original piping to bridge it…..

Just hope it makes it a bit more noisy lol as im already remapped

The bit you’re looking to remove is just pipe, shaped to give clearance? removing it will do nothing other than you having to alter the way your system hangs… if its noise your after take the cat out and fit non res scorpion! just avoid any built up areas ??
