As the title suggests, i fitted a scorpion decat DP with spacers for the 02 sensors to the car over the weeekend. 100mile later & I now have EML ? I bought the decat used with spacers supplied so they are straight spacers about 1 1/2” in length, I had thought it was elbow spacers needed but didn’t question it as it was used. After fitting decat I upload DS Ultima 2+ & haven’t yet plugged in to reset eml etc. So question is, any one experienced this before , if I reset via the accessport will the light return? Thanks for help guys.

March 13, 2019 at 7:44 PM #115070Spacers for the O2 sensors, so that the reading don’t change as much when decat is fitted there for not needing to map out the second second as you would normally.

I can see your mechanical knowledge wouldn’t be great (one of time “YouTube Certified Guys”) so i’ll wait for a better response.

March 14, 2019 at 8:39 AM #115103maybe try the 2nd the sensor without the spacer as I’m sure the DS map just ignores the 2nd sensor but may need it instream for some reason or other? I dont think you want the first sensor spaced with the ds map too? tried disconnecting battery for a few minutes ?
No nothing.
No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.
No tackiness.
Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

BOP’S & Chokes don’t really take a lot off knowledge to work on, bare in mind everything offshore is made to be strong & simple so Eejit‘s like urself can work on them. Anyways I can see you spend a lot off time on hear (no doubt on tower) so I will let you crack on and comment some useless info on someone else’s post.
March 14, 2019 at 9:19 AM #115111Cheers for ur advice man, gonna take a look it hear now. As reckon you could be right with the pre O2 sensor, can’t see the need for it. Also will plug it in and see what code is coming up, just wanted to see if anyone else had similar experience before investigating myself.
