Yes I know it’s a Ford Focus Mk3 Forum…… BUT I’m thinking of things to talk about, so if you have owned previously a Ford RS then tell us or show us what you had or still have. So who will start it off then ?

    First RS1600 in 1982..

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

@DaveRS3, now that’s a tough question, but I would choose the Focus Mk3. simply because it has the power when needed the 4 wheel traction (never noticed any pull or push) contentious point I liked the 4 doors which when added up it makes for a good all around car.
I just wish the red Escort RS 2000 4×4 had a more powerful engine the 150+ish engine was ok but the 4×4 system slowed it down. Would loved to have had 200 bhp in there. The Focus RS Mk1 was an animal and could be a handful in the wet, you really needed to be alert when pushing on. The Focus RS Mk2 was truly a beast of a car is handling was brilliant the engine sublime. Totally awesome but sadly pipped at the post by the Focus RS Mk3

This was my first RS, Mexico in 90.
One  owner base model didn’t even have a radio , loved it.
