    hi guys,

i’m wondering how much of a difference there is in performance between choosing a sportscat or a decat?

will it matter if I’m gonna go with lets say a dreamscience tune?

Is it worth running illegal with a decat or will the sportscat do the job just as fine if we’re not pushing the engine/turbo to the absolute maximum anyway?

I am thinking in the range of 400-to maximum 430 hp?

    sports cat….

    would be my choice!

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Personally don’t understand why anyone would do a decat and make the car illegal.

Most modified cars certainly older ones will be running decats, cheap performance gain.

How ever I’m staying legal for the first time in around  13 years ?

I am drawn towards staying legal aswell, but was just wondering how much you gain from going catless  compared to sports cat?
