not even a Disklok on?  Why make it easy for the scumbags?

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

I cannot understand us owners who don’t take out/ administer  extra visual detterants .

Disklok , clutch pedal lock , brake pedal lock, hand brake to gear- lever lock is the minimum I use when out, then the massive security post in the ground at home.

If the bastards want it they have to get that lot whilst being filmed  & of coarse not being noisy to awake my two very acute hearing dogs.

We are daft if we are to complacent,  we must take more care.?

Yes is frustrating when a £25 faraday pouch would have saved his car.

If your RS is parked outside in full view like this one you need some additional security no question.

    Just so unlucky

But no added security !!!! Why ?

A Rookies mistake, especially on a Ford RS.

Yes, additional security is a very good idea – but why is nobody blaming Ford? Shouldn’t a car be provided with a suitable level of security by the manufacturer?

@Eruliaf – Everything is ‘smart’ these days, but we seem to losing our common sense.

Mine is parked next to my house.

I have a tin foil case I made myself for the keys but I think that wheel lock might help too.

I am sorry for you Kenny. I can only image how annoyed you are.

    @rainydays — It’s not Kenny’s car, I’m not sure he’s got one anymore.

To combat relay theft I think developing a fob with a motion sensor which stops the fob transmitting after remaining motionless for a period of time is worth pursuing by Ford. Read about it somewhere.
