Sync 3 – Waves App?

I’d heard that you can now get the waves app on the sync3, but am trying to work out how to do it.

I have an iPhone and can get CarPlay to work, but can’t seem to get the waves app to show through the mobile apps

Has anyone been able to add apps onto the sync 3 or does it need an update first?

Did they release  the update yet? I also heard they had trouble with iPhoney. I could be wrong

I head it wasn’t released for iOS yet . It works good on my android phone with sync version 3.0

Porter do you mean on Android auto, or using sync apps over Bluetooth ?

Works well on my Sync 3 (v3.2). Part of the android auto functionality.

Just checked today and looks like Waze is now working on IOS for sync3 🙂

Id love to know how to make this work too.

I have tried everything I can think of to make this work but all that I get is the waze icon flashes up, might start to connect then app crashes and the ford nav comes back on.

Im using iphone 7s on iOS 11.3

sync is v3.0 build 18025.
