Touch Open and Close Not Working

Good Morning Folks,

I have only just got my Focus RS Edition, but notice that when I touch the small indent on Drivers and passengers door handles the doors neither open or lock, I always have on my possession the key fob. Any ideas what could be causing them not to work?

the previous owner might have disabled this, sure someone on here can tell you how to re-activate

What year is your car? If it’s a later model keyless entry can be turned off within settings on the centre display.

To switch keyless entry on or off, use the information display controls on the steering wheel to select the following:

Go to Settings > Press the menu button.
Go to Vehicle Settings > Press the OK button.
Go to Locks > Press the OK button.
Go to Intelligent Access > Press the OK button.
