    Hi!

Does anyone know if the existing Powerflex exhaust hanger bushes fits the MK3? Or is the standard ones good enough for a 3″ after market catback exhaust system?

    Thanks!

    Best Regards, Per-Anders.

I have used the original hangers for my Milltek with no issues.

I tried with the original hangers at first, but changed to Mountune’s when I got small vibrations against chassi in some low revs.

Mountune’s exhaust hanger kit “2536-EI-AA” a lot stiffer.

You can buy it at DDesign in Sweden.

    RS Edition , built 13/9-18 , and delivered 9/11-18

Mountune: R.M.M. / Roll restrictor, PTU Brace, Breather plate & Re-circulating valve.

Mishimoto: I/C + pipe kit, Catch can, Blue Aluminum expansion tank

Ford Performance / Remus cat back Exhaust

    FSWERKS short shift kit.

Can’t get my head around this one, most aftermarket exhausts are lighter than original,  so why stiffer hangers? By logic they should be softer, anyone shed light on this, does frequency come into it?

All I can say is mine doesn’t interfere with the body no excessive banging (BDA no smart comments) as you say if exhaust fitted correctly all is fine on standard hangers.
