Mountune have had a busy few months developing parts for the new Focus RS. There has been countless teaser posts on social media but no specific product news and more importantly BHP figures have yet to appear. A few months back they released a news article that hinted at an air filter upgrade but it is a Facebook post on 21 March 2016 that seems to suggest a Focus RS intercooler upgrade may be on the shelves sooner rather than later. The Focus RS does come with a larger intercooler but Mountune usually work on a power package that may come with air filter, exhaust, map and larger intercooler to cope with a possible increase in boost.

When we compare a picture of a standard RS intercooler (lower grill) compared to the Mountune Facebook image they do look significantly different. Can you also spot the difference in the black front fascia – the Mountune one appears to be gloss black.
