Waiting to hear back from them so in the meantime what are peoples experiences with them? How have they held up over time, any wear and tear. Also thread is useless without pics.

@mooncat – Heads up! The shade of blue stitching on their wheels does not match exactly with the OEM stitching.

I used them to refurbish my old escort steering wheel. Did an amazing job.

@mooncat. Look forward to the pics, I’m not sure if I want full Alcantara or not. Hmm

Have used them for steering wheels on my 3 EVO’s and now the RS over the years so that in itself should tell a story, but the quality of their work is excellent.

My first Evo’s had an Alcantara wheel but it was such a nightmare to keep clean and prevent the thing from matting that I stuck with leather for the rest but I’ve attached a picture of my RS wheel – the blue I’ve got is close enough to Nitrous not to matter but their other blue isn’t quite the same as the Ford blue but again close enough.

@lamberps that’s my worry with Alcantara, not sure if I want the hassle of keeping it looking good. I really like what you have done on the RS. Is just the stripe you had done? Can I be cheeky and ask how much that cost?

@Matt. B – no, the entire wheel has been retrimmed with the perforated sides and normal top/bottom plus the stripe of course.

The retrim adds about 2mm to the diameter of the wheel which makes it feel much better to hold – always thought the original wheel was too skinny.   I think it was £155 or thereabouts.
