    Hi guys

Just bought a 2016 RS from Cairns, Australia. Now waiting for it to be trucked to Brisbane!

I won’t get it for a week (18 hour drive). But looking forward to that first drive.

I am a long way away from most of you, but I’m originally from Lancashire 🙂

Will probably be here looking for tips along the way!

congrats ! but oh what a missed opportunity for a great first 1000mile road trip down the coast !!

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Congrats! Are the specs the same as here or do you get different options as standard? Going to be worth the wait

Welcome to the forum, what a great looking RS. I bet your counting the hours until it arrives. IMO you have chosen the best colour. ??

Thought about it, but that’s a long first drive!

Would have cost the same as trucking it (maybe more with a couple of tickets)…plus a couple of days off work 🙁

    @Matt. B

Obviously not an expert as I don’t even have the car yet, but from what I have read the forged wheels are the only option here.

I think most of the other UK options came as standard.

This one has the shell seats, sat nav and parking sensors. Not sure about the folding mirrors.

Heated seats and steering wheel, sunroof and door protectors were not available in 2016.

Needs a proper clean in the morning.
