Afternoon all… and @71-bda.

So I finally got round to fitting my Mud Flaps yesterday. After humming and haying for quite some time I finally took the plunge. The reason for the hold up was due to me not being a massive fan of Mud Flaps but I must say these are really growing on me.
After fitting them I still wasn’t too sure but when I refitted the wheels and got the RS back down on to the ground I was most impressed!!
Even though my RS is on Mountune Springs with H&R 15mm Wheel Spacers the Mud Flaps give an extra look of width and make the RS look even better in my opinion!! Oh, and they come right up and meet my baby flaps, just nice!! ??.

nice one Marc , at bloody last eh !! I thought I was slow taking about 18 months from picking the car up to fitting, but you have done me there. Looks proper purposeful now innit! looking very clean too . Nice.

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Innit?

The only thing I can say is that it takes longer for it to get dirty. The flaps really do help. Like the way they meet the mini flaps.

Afternoon Tony. They are Rallyflapz 4mm PVC from the Club shop. Currently £79. They look a lot better on the car than I thought they were going to and the rear ones come up and meet the baby flaps in the rear arch so you’re not left with a gap.

Indeed mate!! I can only advise that you get them sooner rather than later. Upon close inspection I had loads of stone chips on the rear edges of the front wings that I had to touch in before fitting the Flaps!! That areas are all protected now. ?.
