and no,its not the ecoboom, its that ‘old banger’ Cosworth YB Turbo Sierra engine !  look in the last race how slow he makes the other competitor (loser) look painfully slow even though his losing run was a respectable 9.2 second 159mph run with a parachute to stop at the end ! 1200BHP anyone??

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

What impressed me more than the raw acceleration was how stable it looked on all the runs.

Must feel like getting shot out of a cannon.

May the Ford be with you

Do I detect some crabbing on some of the runs?

That’s a fast, really fast straight line car   7’s needs respect anything sub 10’s is quick but 7’s is a different league.

I suppose the only thing it’s got in common with an Escort Mk1 is it’s silhouette.

But respect where respect is due 7’s F@%king Fast

    RS Edition.

    Mental! Looks like a Mk1!!!

Think i saw an article on one of his earlier MK1s when he first started out in the drag scene – certainly recognise the name
