    Hi all,

    Thinking of upgrading my intercooler to the Airtec one. I currently have FPM375 (may consider CP2 in the future but for the foreseeable will be sticking with FPM). Is it worth upgrading the intercooler (and potentially the associated pipework) or would I not notice a difference with FPM?

    Cheers.

    Probably won’t notice much difference at that level although it won’t do any harm.

    Highly recommended the blue writing and the CP2 map, so smooth. If your local to me your more than welcome to try mine. Cheeky pic…

    Order has been placed.

    Have gone for a black intercooler with grey writing as my RS is Stealth. Can’t wait!

    Next question, does the Airtec intercooler work with the Mountune charge pipe kit, or would I be better off with the Airtec pipework?

    Answered my own question… Found a fitting video where the guy fitted the Airtec intercooler and used the standard Ford piping. The Mountune pipe is the same size as the Ford OE AFAIK, so that answered that question.

    Rob at SCC also thinks the Mountune pipe will work with the Airtec intercooler.

    Mountune pipes on order.

    You certainly should have been able to have your before and after dyno day as you chose! Although the pulley is a lot of fun, the airtec is frequently criticized online for being inferior to the OE IC. Evidently, the OE GP is the only IC that performs better than the stock OE. It’s beautiful, can someone do my dissertation – London – England though, so I can’t think it’s horrible. I wish you could see the dyno before and after, though! possibly later on?

    @brook kelly

    I hope that the “dissertation  forgery service” for university students does not cover Motor Engineering Degrees

    May the Ford be with you
