Alloy wheel reverb

Any one curbed their beloved black forged alloys, and then tried to get them refurbed, I’ve spoken to a couple of so called ( 30 year experience) In the business wheel specialists.

and all I got was a oooph I took photos of the slight damage , but they said need to see wheel in flesh . I  heard because of the forged black they have to be careful about heat while baking alloy . Anyone had similar troubles let us know guys . Oh ended up buying new one £600 that’s with out a sensor 😭😭😭

Not heard of these wheels being particularly problematic, many on hear have gone for a different colour. I can understand the wheel refurbishes wanting to see the wheel in the flesh regarding cracks etc. WOW £600 is steep I have one with a brand new tyre you could have had for £400.

I’ve had all four of mine done and it wasn’t a problem at all for TWS, in fact…their satin black finish looks OEM.

Have a look and see if you have a Local Chips Away Services, they can/some can refurb them, worth a try.
