After experimenting with blue and silver lip treatments, I decided to replace the silver with red Rimsavers.

Removing the old Rimsavers was easy, with a little preheating from a heat gun. I had expected a major hassle but the old Rimsaver simply peeled off with almost no residual adhesive. Isopropyl alcohol was used to clean up before starting the new Rimsaver.

A trolley jack makes an excellent turntable for the project:

Photos were done in the garage as the car will now sit for a 48 hour cure on the adhesive.

Colour is clearly a personal thing but I found the blue too ornate and the silver too dull.

    For me, red wins.
