Earlier this week there was the news of the passing of someone whose name would be familiar to many .  It attracted headlines, spawned much talk and accolades on radio and TV with a lot of outpourings from colleagues.  Was this for an inspirational teacher, dedicated and caring nurse on the cancer ward of a children’s hospital or maybe a tireless fund raiser for a worthy charity?    Nah!………It was for a disc jockey FFS!

As much as I sympathise for his friends and family, I can’t help thinking there’s something rather cockeyed in the way humans view the relevance of some in our society?

Johnd,  great impression of one character’s the said disc jockey had on his show.

    I’m afraid that’s modern media.
