    And the bonnet is pretty flimsy without the vents. The Mk2 bonnet was far more robust.

    @mexicoian are they the maxton vents & where’d you get them fitted?



    Magnetic RS, just Sunroof & door protectors away from top spec. Factory standard for now but looking to upgrade to Mountune FPM375 & other mods once the recall has been done

    Yes they are maxton came colour coded blue then lw smart repairs matched them to new bonnet gotta say as good a match you gonna get ‘ saved my original bonnet

    Those big vents remind me of one of the many Seibon Carbon Bonnets

    What are people doing about water getting in on battery and air intake as I want to fit some on mine

    I made a cover for my airbox but to be honest with the k&n/mountune filter it’s not necessary. There is a drain hole in the bottom of the air box to allow water to drain. I’d only put the cover on if I was leaving it outside in the rain but it lives in my garage most of the time.

    Quick question, how do you see the coolant level at a glance, do you have to remove the blue cover first.
